We purchased Accolade at the Futurity Auction in 2012 and we are very pleased with this decision. Her fleece has a very soft handle, with fineness, crimp and great density. Her conformation is rock-solid. We bred her To Brookfarm's Rock of Gibraltar's KC and got a dark rose grey male in 2014 - and he sold when he was just a couple of months old! For 2015, we bred to our multi-champion Great Smoky Mtns of Blackforest. They produced a beautiful medium silver gray female, Blackforest's Dana! A special name (after our daughter) for a special girl. The result was so impressive, we repeated it for 2016. We anticipated another beautiful grey offspring. We got even more than we anticipated - a dark silver gray female!!!! The first dark silver gray alpaca born on our farm! A great mom and a very nice female.
