We purchased Sarah from Stewart's Royal Alpacas when they came to us in the Fall of 2007 with their retirement offer. She is another foundation female that is Full Peruvian and a great dam. Sarah is one of our favorite females because of her sweet disposition and overall an "Excellet" breeding female/mom. Sarah is 1/2 Accoyo and has hard to find bloodlines in Accoyo Anton so will be easy to find breeding mates. She is one of our heaviest fleece producers, providing nearly 5 1/2lbs of prime blanket fleece (over 10lbs total) in 2008. Her fleeces are uniform, fine, and very crimpy. A histogram in 2004 shows a MC 22.6 and CV of 23.1. She can produce color as shown in 2007's offspring, Christopher Columbus, a beautiful Light Fawn male out of Peruvian Challenge. She was bred to Silver Rose Rainier and delivered a very nice white male on 22 Jun 08. Sarah would make an outstanding foundation female for almost any herd, especially wanting a white peruvian, 1/2 accoyo. Sarah is currently open and will be bred in the late spring or summer 2011. We have not decided which herdsire will be the best choice for her next cria but could very well be TP Poseidon's Motivator, our 20X champion.
