Equilizer levels the playing field! A very photogenic male, Equilizer blends a daughter of Accoyo Legacy (who sold 1/2 interest for $750,000) with Snowmass Peruvian Black N' Gold (one of the premier colored herdsires in the US), for a very striking male. Black N' Gold is out of Snowmass Peruvian Escobar & Escobar is out of Peruvian Hemingway. THAT IS WORLD-CLASS BLOODLINES!! Equilizer has more then outward beauty and conformation, just look at his fleece! His fleece is outstanding in every major characteristic from fineness, density, brightness, handle, and staple length. Equilizer shows more energy and testosterone then most of our other herdsires. He is fun to watch and is just striking in every way. We had a monthly meeting at our farm of our local farm group (Southeastern Colorado Alpaca Breeders) and several farms looked at him and decided to do outside breedings to him. He should have 7 crias on the ground in 2008. We have him bred to at least 4 of our own females this year and he is ready for more outside breedings. The summary of his many awards are listed below but a Reserve Color Championship, two 1st Places and two 2nd Places in big classes demonstrate that his championship heritage was inherited from his dam and sire. We were able to talk to Scott and Debbie Miller of Crescent Moon and they said Equilizer's personality has been what we have experienced from the day he was born (positive energy). Awards Received 1st Place out of 13 at TxOLAN 2006 in Brown Juvenile Male Class 1st Place and RESERVE COLOR Champion out of 7 Brown Male Classes at MOPACA 2006 (#2 out of 40 brown males) 6th Place at GWAS in a very strong & large class (Everybody has a bad day once in while). 3rd Place at ABR's Fall Fest 2006. 2nd Place @ A-OK Blast-Off 2007. 4th Place @ TxOLAN 2007. 2nd Place @ GWAS 2007 out of about 13 med brown male yearlings We have several farms that have bred to him and we have several females from our own herd bred to him for crias in 2008.
